It is neither leaving
Nor arriving
But the in-between
That challenges

It is the space
Between here and there
Between what was
And what might be

Where fears
Confuse reality
And thoughts
Confabulate to compensate

It is in-between
Where we must choose
Or not
The choice to choose is ours

We can stay always leaving
We can remain never arriving
Or we can travel

The space between.
